Allan Moffat (1939- )

Allan Moffat is a Canadian-Australian former racing driver. Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, he moved to Warragul, Victoria, in 1956. Moffat achieved great success in Australian motorsports, particularly in the Bathurst 1000 race, where he won four times. He is regarded as one of Australia's most successful touring car racers.

Ted Baillieu (1953- )

Edward Norman Baillieu, commonly known as Ted Baillieu, is an Australian politician who served as the 46th Premier of Victoria. Born in Melbourne, Baillieu spent his early years in Warragul. He was a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, representing the electorate of Hawthorn. Baillieu held the premiership from 2010 to 2013.

Bill Bennett (1933- )

Bill Bennett is an Australian film director and writer born in Warragul. His notable works include the film "Kiss or Kill," which won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Film in 1997, and "In a Savage Land." Bennett is recognized for his contribution to Australian cinema.

Steve Moneghetti (1962- )

Steve Moneghetti is an Australian long-distance runner who was born in Ballarat but raised in nearby Warragul. He has represented Australia in numerous international competitions, including four Olympic Games. Moneghetti is well-regarded for his achievements in marathon running and has been inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
